what to expect during a first visitAfter contacting our office and scheduling your first visit, an information packet will be mailed to you. This packet will contain information about the procedures you are interested in, as well as forms to complete and bring to our office.
During your initial consultation, you will have the opportunity for an unhurried visit with Dr. Ratliff about your individual needs and desires. This is a great time to get all the answers you need and to learn exactly what Dr. Ratliff believes is possible for you. You can view images of other patients with similar body types who have had the surgery you are considering. And you can discuss the various choices you have concerning your procedure, such as implant type, incision location, etc. You will also have the chance to learn about all of the business and financial details of the operation you are considering. Your patient coordinator will work with you to establish a convenient date for the surgery and supply additional information to help you prepare for the operation. Stated simply, our goal is to deliver an extremely high level of personal service that is rare in healthcare today. You will find that Dr. Ratliff and the members of the PSC staff have a genuine interest in YOU... your comfort and your piece of mind. You will receive complete, authoritative information. And you will always be treated with the respect that you and your family deserve. If you are from out of town, it may be possible for you to have your initial consultation on one day, and your surgery the following day. Always talk with your patient coordinator about your needs, and visit the “Traveling to the Center” section of our site for more information.
