Deciding on a location for the operation

When choosing to have plastic surgery, it’s super important to look at the credentials of your plastic surgeon, to make sure that they’re board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. But, it’s also important to look at where they operate. At our practice, we choose to operate out of an office-based surgery center. It’s Quad ASF certified that means that it’s accredited by the American Association for the Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities. It’s the highest accreditation you can get for outpatient surgery centers. And I would recommend if you’re having any kind of surgical procedure that you at least get to that standard. The risks are much lower for having procedures done in those facilities.
