Loss of sensation in nipples after implants

So, it’s a common question to ask about nipple sensation after breast augmentation. We understand that’s an important thing for many women. And it’s really pretty minimal as far as overall how much people lose 100% of their sensation. National lists it somewhere between four and eight percent. It’s very uncommon here in our practice as most of our patients have all of their sensation. Sometimes it takes a while to get back to normal and sometimes they become more sensitive before they get back to normal. But, usually by nine to 12 months, you’re at your final result on having sensation.
